Life Cycle: Winter annual
Description: Purple deadnettle has a square stem and the flowers are reddish purple. Leaves of purple deadnettle are petioled, triangular and sometimes purplish-red. Purple deadnettle is often confused with henbit. Henbit upper leaves do not occur on petioles.
