Description: Common in cultivated areas, waste sites, pastures. Tall, stocky plant with large white to purple flowers. Distinctive unpleasant odor from bruised leaves. Cotyledons of Common Cocklebur look similar, however, common cocklebur cotyledons lack the distinctive midvein and are generally larger.
