Description: Dandelion is a troublesome pest of lawns and pastures. It has a taproot and basal rosette. It resembles chicory in the rosette stage, however the leaves of dandelion generally have lobes that are opposite from one another. It produces a bright yellow flower and a "puffball" seedhead.
