Life Cycle:  Perennial

Description: Plants can be as tall as 3-5 feet. The leaves are narrow and arranged alternately along the stem. The lower half of the stem is smooth and the upper portion is downy. Goldenrod produces a yellow, panicle-like flower from August through September.
